I'm just wondering how they're able to get online and host the mods. Do they have 2 PS3's or use some app that spoofs?

i understand how to mod the files, as i have already installed the Phoenix V5 patch for w@w and elite mossy V9 for mw2 but do you need actual game updates and patches for them? and i have 3 PS3's atm and one with the YLoD which is unimaginably easy to fix. one is brand new from best buy. would i just have to hook up the ether net cable form the 3.55 to the 4.21 then do the data transfer? because im almost positive that the PS3s have to be on the same ofw to use the data transfer utility.. do i NEED the spoofer?

That I know of they do not need to be on the same firmware. Going from 3.55 to 4.21 = no spoofer 4.21 to 3.55 data transfer would require a spoofer from what I know.

ok thank you so much for the help and tolerating for my nooby stupidity XD im gunna go try it now and i was wondering about the 3.55 to 4.21 because i jsut read on the sony web site that they had ot be the same.. i guess it doesnt actually apply. anyway thanks again
