reformat doesnt seem to work for me. The quick one doesnt remove it and I try to do a complete one and it said it will take 7 hrs, but when i start it, it just sits there on 0%

ok for everyone that needed help on taking it off, i found out how to take it off an this is what i did. You need the reverter file to atleast get the ps3 to try an update since everything else you try to use will come up with error.

First i reformatted the quick way(not sure if you really have 2 do that to achieve the end result), but after i did that an found out it didn't work i tried the major reformat (which of coarse didn't work like a stated earlier), but if you cancel an turn it on it will try to quick format again anyway. Hit no or just cut it off because you want to put it into recovery mode after it gives you no other option but to reformat your ps3.

get it into recovery mode, and put the reverter in the update folder of your flash as if your trying to put cfw on it again an try to update. It should try to format in recovery allow it and when it tries to update joeys reverter an askes you to accept the terms and conditions just take the usb drive out and swap out the reverter update for the ofw (i used 4.21), it should run through and walla no more demonstration or his p.o.s. firmware

But now im curious though because i kinda want to try that same process just to downgrade or something lol

Either or i hope i helped alot of you out there, because i have literally spent all day trying to get that shit off and i know alot more of you are suffering. If you can tell me how to post the reverter for everybody to be able to get please let me know
