i haven't had a chance to try your suggestion yet but thank you very much i have been looking I've literally downloaded over 50 different ".pup's" hoping that the reverter or update would work for me but none have prevailed. I take great offense that your calling me a liar though. :/

Okay upon review of your video that is not what my PS3 "home menu" looks like i cannot sign in, access the internet in any way, change profiles, or watch/listen to any media on my PS3. Also there is a little box in the bottom right corner that says "Demonstration mode 4.20." I've already tried 4801 and 0000 in the security pass they do not work. I've tried to install many different ".pup's" whether they be reverters or OFW 4.21,4.20. i receive the same error message "no applicable update data found." Now I have been thinking about buying an E3 Flasher this seems like a sure fire way to get my PS3 fixed but i do not wish to buy one.
