Can we still play mw2 on bypass mode with the new 4.25 update?

I have 2 ps3, one on 3.55 jb and one now on 4.21. So when i try to connect to the psn, its say that i have the new update. So if I have to update it, how i will do if i have blackbox ftp and comgenies and a modified mw2 patch_mp.ff. I have to delete the mw2 patch, blackbox and comgenies. And afther update it, i do a data transfer? i'm new in that.
