Is it worth keeping? I can transfer patches to my legit PS3 but, that takes a while plus it overwrites all my stuff on the legit PS3.

I know I can play backups offline but that's useless to me because I can't sync trophies without a ban probably.

True, but the CFW PS3 is very convenient to have.

I'm not sure if it was signed for the new cfws, but if you mean as in the sony firmware in general, it should as I don't think they can get past it and doesn't allow you to connect to psn.
