The only thing that will disappear, is the "Install Apps" folder. All homebrew apps will still remain, but you won't be able to access them when you're on OFW 3.55.

only chance of this is if you downgraded to kmeaw firmware without the steps to clear out the ability to install other 3.55 firmware over. but as far as i know kmeaw is not a choice to get unless its already been downgraded to a lower firmware then re-updated to 3.55. in other words if you originally downgraded with a e3 or progskeet it was rogero cfw used and need another downgrade through qa menu's to install any other firmware after for safety. kmeaw is safe to overwirte with other firmwares of ofw & cfw3.55 as long as the firmware was proven to work.

AFTER you downgrade from 4.xx you must use the qa flag settings to downgrade from 3.55 to 3.50-3.41 and then reinstall 3.55 official before going into kmeaw for saftey. if you are in kmeaw then all you have to do is install official 3.55.
only way to downgrade from firmware higher than 3.55 is with a e3 or progskeet installed.
also if you are trying to switch to 4.30 4.21 cfw from 3.55 you have to do the toggle qa tutorial before pdating to any cfw higher than 3.55. only official firmware is safe to update to anytime.
