Found myself a heat gun at home, and ordered some Artic Silver thermal compound. I'll let you guys know how it goes next week.

No I just looked up a video on how to take apart you ps3 and I took it apart took off some dirt/dust put it all back together (I turned it on once and still had the YOLD) then after 2 week's I decided to sell my ps3 and I turned it on to see if it worked one last time and it did no more YLOD so I kept it.

I don't think that it's going to work with this PS3. Gonna have to reflow it myself.

Alright, I am going to repair the motherboard on Thursday or some day during the week. I have bought another motherboard on 3.15 or 3.55, the guy doesn't remember what it's on, that I will have for a backup if this one shits out again.
