(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am getting my 3.55 firmware PS3 back from a friend soon and I was wondering whats the best custom firmware I can use on 3.55 and the reasons for it being the best .

I am no noob to this I use to host on MW2 and had GeoHots CFW but I am sure now there are better CFW .

Install Rebug 3.55.4 on it. It's the best, in my opinion.

Update it to 4.30.1 rebug (you have to be on 3.55 for it to work, don't update then try it wont work)

Download REBUG version 4.30.1, install it on OFW 3.55. You have to be on 3.55 to install it.

would that mean that my firmware would update to 4.30 CFW because I would kinda like to stay on 3.55 for now

They are basically stopping support for 3.55 but suit yourself.

Really ? I am really behind on all this . What are the risks of being on 4.30 CFW ? and would you recommend going online now ?

There aren't any risks really. Just don't go online. Sony going through a mass ban wave at the moment.
