You're Goddamn Right
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ive never replaced the ps3 internal HDD, just picked up a 1tb and wanting to switch it out.

  • Its a PS3 Slim 120gb
  • Im currently on 4.21 Rebug

I tried the HDD in and get this msg:
You must login or register to view this content. (but says 4.21)

So what steps should i take? I believe on slims, part of the FW is on the HDD if im correct. So its probably not the best idea to do this on 4.21.

k, thanks

probably not all of these steps we're required, but better to be safe:

999 Downgrader
Toggle QA
Rebug 3.55
Official 3.55
Backup Data
CHANGE HDD
Restore Data
Rebug 3.55
Rebug 4.21

about 30 min job
