i turn the ps3 on then i click star and after 10-20secs 3 blue lights start flashing that's all, nothing happens to the ps3 but every time i get does 3 lights flashing

The lights represent error codes. which ones are flashing which are not.

flashing = 1, not flashing = 0

One of two things could be the problem:

1. the clip is not seated correctly. Make sure the clip is in place. Tape it, use a piece of foam to keep it in place and press it down when you cover it.

2. The PS3 isnt supported (which isnt likely)

If the first option didnt work, tell me your model type.

*Make sure you updated the flasher too.

Not all of those models can use the e3 downgrade bin. What did minimum version checker tool say your PS3 can be downgraded to?
