i turn the ps3 on then i click star and after 10-20secs 3 blue lights start flashing that's all, nothing happens to the ps3 but every time i get does 3 lights flashing

Your good then. Most likely your clip is not secured. Reseat it, and put more pressure on it. Then tape it down good, with strong tape and put more pressure on it while taping it down.

Make sure to validate your dumps before flashing also. If you are getting an error trying to flash, the clip is not on good and you dumps are probably not good either.
