Which one of them is the best and why?

I'm using Rebug 4.21.2.
I think it's the best one because you can switching between CEX&Awesome faceEX.

I never really understood the difference between CEX, DEX, REX.

REX is just a name for the FW.
A DEX-Console is the console which Developer get & a CEX-Console,
which you buy at a market. Smile

For someone like me, who just wants to play backed up games, is that feature (switching from dex/cex) really useful?

Yes then you can just use the spoofer to go online when ever you want . Don't go on CFW 4.40 just yet too many bugs on it and you might get caught out on it
