I did everything I was supposed to do but it keeps saying "No applicable update data was found". I made a folder on the root of my USB called "PS3", then made a folder inside that called "UPDATE", and I put the UPDAT.PUP in there but it just doesn't work. I even tried it in Recovery Mode. Is there something I'm missing??

Yes, but if you're on OFW higher than 3.55, you have to use a hardware flasher to downgrade before you can install CFW.
