Every time i want to install a firmware weather it be a on ofw or a cfw on my ps3, it first detects what firmware, then i click ok to confirm then an error message pops up on my screen "Update data of version 3.20 or later can be installed on this " (8002F969)

What is this horse shit? and this s pissing me off so much because im just stuck at Kmeaw's 3.55 bullshit and i want to get on a rebug firmware.

Any thoughts/ideas/advice

I jail broke my ps3 2 years ago with geohot's 3.55 cfw , i got rid of that and put on Kmeaw's 3.55 jb on my own because at the time spoofers came out and i wanted to go online . so i spoofed my ps3 with 4.30 or 4.31 or something a few times and yeah, now i just can't update anymore:cry:

Have you also checked other forums about this error? There has to be a fix for it. Maybe message multiman for the fix to this error. And searching for them to make a update to fix that error could help alot of people that have probably had the same issue.

What does multiMAN have to do with any of this?? There won't be an update to fix this error because the error is not with the CFW, it's with his PS3 and we're trying to find out what it is.

multiman in the past has added tools to fix error's. That's what muiltiman has to do with this.

YES. I recently have attempted to try and convert to dex ! I managed to get my root key and my nand. I created A dex nand too

mM fixes errors related to starting games mate. It doesn't have anything to do with fixing CFW installation errors.

There's your problem then! You did convert to DEX and you are on DEX now aren't you?? If you are, I have a solution for you

I don't know man i did flash it, it took 45 minutes man do you believe that shit damn , anyway im not sure if im on dex or cex how do I check and yes im interested in this solution ^_^:mmm:
