Right i haven't modded in 2 years but today i got my 3.55 ps3 and most of it im remembering although alots happened since the 3.55 jb.
But ive been speaking to a few people that have also helped me and i have these questions to ask:
--
I have an ofw 4.41 ps3 and my 3.55 ps3 cfw ps3, can i/how do i make a backup for it, so i can have a mod menu on my ofw 4.41?
How do i data transfer files/what can i data transfer?
Is it possible to have a coldboot on my ofw ps3?

Ive made my own coldboot but i was wondering if i can put it on my 4.41 ofw aswell?

As said im pretty much a noob to this again so go easy on me guys, i know your all pro's and i sound stupid but i learn fast and once i know, i wont forget! No sarky comments please.. i just want to know the answers, thats all.

About ur patches, u need to use filezilla and transfer them on ur 3.55 via FTP. On 3.55 i recommend using blackbox but if u upgrade to 4.41.2 then u just use the rebug toolbox. Let me know what u have on ur 3.55 cfw right now or what u did so i would know what to say to u.

Thanks for your reply mate, ive done all the patches.. thats the easy part just transferring is the hard part for me as ive never done it. Could you help me with the upgrading part i just dont want to mess anything up!

Therefore go on rebug.me scroll down till u see rebug 4.41.2 lite links, download that rar, open it, copy the link given to browser, download the pup file and then rename it to: PS3UPDAT.pup then get a usb stick, make 2 folders inside the root of ur usb, one called PS3, and inside PS3, make another folder called UPDATE and place the pup file inside update, then let it finish and plug the usb in ps3. So again, the folders like this: PS3-UPDATE-pup file. Now once u plugged in the usb, go to system update, update via usb, and let it finish. Now, after these done, it will reboot. Now go on game section of the XMB, str8 down to package files, ps3 hdd files( or somewhat like dat) and u see there rebug toolbox. Install it. Now once installed... Well leave it there LOL. Now try again the data transfer, and let me know what it says :y:
Wow thanks for writing all this out for me mate, as said i am a noob with this and i fully understand this now.. sorry im just downloading the 4.41.2 lite PUP file as i just popped down the shop lol! So once ive installed it and the rebug toolbox il try transfering again although i already have a rebug toolbox on my ps3? :S

Either way do not use the old toolbox as it wont work with 4.41.2, dont even enter it after u updated to 4.41.2, cuz as soon as u wanna quit, ps3 will give black screen and u must plug the power out and back in order to be able to turn it on again lol. Trust me i know from my own experience lol. So yeah just delete that, go to package files, ps3 hdd files and install that new one. And u good from there. Let me know how data transfer goes.
Thanks mate, yeah ive got the new(ish) toolbox on my usb, the 4.41.2 lite is just installing (35% and counting).. il delete the old toolbox and install the new pkg once its dont, because i dont want to mess up lol! Il let you know when its all installed, unless you have Skype? Which would be easier lol!
EDIT* All installed and toolbox installed on 4.41.2 lite rebug all working, what now mate?

Thats why i told u to go on game section, straight down to package files and then u will see 3 folders, its the first one mate( ps3 hdd files or something) that has the rebug toolbox.
