I kept doing it slower and slower, still doing the same thing. The e3 card reader never turns blue. Thanks for trying to help btw

Replace the e3 reader only thing i can think off that is the main problem.

Ok, So what dongle would u recommend i get?

try first to format ps3 hdd on pc..then update your e3 card reader on pc with the jig file..make a fan test..then plug the e3 card reader on the right usb port (power cord off)..start ps3 via pressing power and quickly eject button..if your e3 card reader switch to blue light then you activate fsm..but its shows a black screen..after shotdown put the lv2diag.self and the rogero 3.55 v3.7 on the root of your usb and start ps3..let it work..it takes neraly 8 mins for install the new cfw..you can see the hdd led if its install or not..after its done its shotdown automaticly
