you need defintly to downgrade via hardware flasher like e3 or teenys etc etc..they are no other way..or you buy a ps3 console that is on ofw 3.55 or lower..

For the price of the chip, it would be a lot cheaper to purchase a service where someone does it for you. As you'll more than likely one use it the one time :wag:.
