Yeah I understand that that section is my friend, its just if I don't know what I'm looking for that I don't know where to start. I have now spent about 52 hours searching this site and multiple others for the information that I need, but coming up empty handed. I have gained more knowledge (I believe) but still not the answers. I have found that I obviously have to update my firmware with a spoofer. But no one is very clear on what Spoof I need. I've learned (I believe) That I need to go to Rebug 4.21.2 REX then got to 4.46 in order to do what I'm wanting to do. I've learned about using Filezilla and Blackbox to do all the file editing where you put the eboots and .rpf's, but still don't know which ones to download and transfer to my ps3. Also, I have 3 ps3's, 2- which are running on OFW 4.50, and now, 1- that is running on 3.55. And as said before, It already has Multiman, Blackbox, and Congenie on it so I am assuming it is on a CFW right??? Now, If I want to upgrade to the 4.21.2 (Which I believe to be correct) should I take it back to factory 3.55 OFW before I try to upgrade?? Then where do I go from there?? After I do mod the files in Filezilla, do I have to put the on the JB Ps3 then data transfer to my non-JB ps3 to play online??

I am 30 years old and just recently learned about JBing a ps3. I am in no way a dumb***, just needing a little help to get started than I can figure out a lot from there. We all had to start somewhere so Please help me out with some info Mate.

Ok, so I am a noob when it comes to jailbreaking a ps3. I have found a ps3 to purchase that is already jailbroken and running on 3.55 fw and has multiman and comgenies file manager. The guy says he has never put it online and it will need a spoof if I plan on putting it online. I want to play GTAO online and do the money and rp mods but I don't know where to start. So here starts my questions:

1. With it already being jailbroken, can I have some advice on how to go about getting and doing the 'Spoof'?
2. What Spoof do I need??
3. What do I need to do the mods in GTAO?

I know there are many other questions that I am going to have to ask, but I'm just trying to get the conversation going with someone who can help me.

If I was you I would go to 4.55 rogero n download ccapi 2.50 n if you Skype me I can give you the spoof for 4.55 rogero n I can also help you mod GTA 5 n give you some rtm tools to mod ranks

What CFW is it on now? And also, would you like to convert to a DEX CFW, or just stay on CEX. I'm on 4.50ita DEX firmware, I don't need to spoof I can automatically sign in. And to mod GTA:O, mostly just need to make a backup of the game on multiMAN and your good to go!

Thanks for the advice guys. But if you look at the date on this thread it was from last October when I first got my 1st console. And with a lot of studying over the last 7-8 months I have not only figured these questions out, but have made a lot of progress in the "cfw world." But hopefully someone else will read these questions and answers and it'll help them out! Thanks guys!
