(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys today I purchased an E3 flasher and a couple of ps3's that are going to be downgraded. I have read a bunch on flashing systems back to 3.55 so I feel pretty confident that there should be no issues.

My question to everyone is who here has experience with downgrading Ps3's using the flasher?

How was your first experience when you downgraded your first ps3?

And last, who can I ask for help (if needed) when it comes in the mail next week?

I am very experienced with the E3 Flasher

How was your first experience when you downgraded your first ps3?
Scary and nerve racking! Made sure I had all the tools and gave myself time to finish up. Took me about 3 hours to complete the whole process, which included opening/closing the ps3 and doing the actual downgrading process. I suggest to practice on taking apart/putting back together the ps3.

Thanks man I'll be sure to add ya on Skype. And I am pretty familiar with the ps3, I have taken them apart and replace thermal paste and also BR Drives multiple times. Really the mechanical portion of it doesn't seem bad, it's the actual flashing portion that kinda interest me. But yeah man, thanks for the support and I'll be in touch when the flasher comes in

Yeah thats what I was kinda thinking. I was trying to see who has them and who is pretty familiar with them just in case I did have a question when I get into it for the first time.

I cannot stress this enough, MAKE SURE THERE IS ALOT OF PRESSURE ON YOUR CLIP... and also shave down the sides a bit..

All in all the process is pretty simple, but being your first time, you wanna go into things slow.. I know by experience.
I ruhed into things and actually broke some of my PS3's. YLOD and damaged Nor(hardware) problems.

Also not trying to advertise, but I will just leave this link here, it helped me A BUNCH. And also he will answer literally any question you have! You must login or register to view this content.

Yeah on some slim consoles boards there is a small chip in the way so you have to file a bit off the edge of the E3 nor clip.

Do at-least three dumps to make sure to clip is attached properly.

You will get Syscon Panic YLOD if the clip gets detached while you are flashing the ps3.That's what happened to me first time I used my E3!

I Had to solder nor tristate to ground to fix it.

Most important thing is that the clip is secure

Here is my setup You must login or register to view this content.

I helped put sooooo many people can't keep up with every single problem.
But, the most problem I've encountered, when I'm helping people, is the 10001100!
Need to add more pressure onto the clip or shave off the sides of the clip, so it can flush onto the motherboard.
