Post: PS3 Bricked would any one know how to fix this or help.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well my cfw ps3 is bricked i know it. what happens is when i turn it on it says on for about 3 mins. Then turns it's self off when the HDD light flashes But when i go to recovory mode the ps3 will stay on till i turn it off but shows nothing on the tv? please some1 help me with this its on 3.55 and it has a broken blueray bit. but that does not matter as i know how to bypass it when updateing. thanks

Try putting an original OFW in USB into the ps3 them go into safe mode twice and make sure there's no disks in the console ,since it's bricked your gunna have to find a way to format the hard drive or get a new one

Try to format the hdd by putting it onto yout computer, if you only have one hdd slot, but have a build in dvd player, you can unplug that one and plug in the ps3s hdd, them quickformat it and boot ps3 and it will tell you to reinstall the firmware

I had the same issue and solved it by formatting with pc

Yeah I tryed that and yes I formatted my HDD on computer, even got a new HDD still no joy when I got to recovery me u nothing papers on tv atol

I tryed that to the ps3 just turns off dyer about 2 mins the HDD flashes the shuts down no input on the tv to

When I turn the ps3 on, it stays on for about 2mins then the HDD light flashes, nothing shows up on the tv and the ps3 shuts down

Okay for what I see it seems your bios have been misconfigured causing the brick ,but you should try holding the home button to turn it on till it turns off then turn it on this reset the video bios maybe it can help

Like the home button on the controller ? I don't think that would work I'll try anyway
