The system itself works just fine, it powers on but there's no PS3 Logo showing up at all and the monitor stays black the entire time but it boots up fine and doesn't shut off at all.
I have done 3 successful backups, the only issue was the next part.
I patched my 4.55FM PS3 with the Flash Tool and then put all the switches down.
I am getting these error as well..

It seems like the process is wanting to go through but it fails at writing/reading bios.
May it be the E3 Clip not being seated right as well?
Before all this i had issues with seating.
I'm not sure what to do at this point and i really want to get this fixed ASAP.
I'd appreciate any help, also if it works i WILL reward you with cash or a private console ID.
Thanks

PlayStation 3 Slim CECH2001A - NO HDD ETC.:
UPDATE: I have flashed my normal good backup (4.55FW) and it worked succesfully, now my screen isn't black anymore.
All i have to do now is update firmware 4.55OFW and reflash to jailbreak.
Hopefully this works, will update again if any issues happen again.
Second PS3 however got the YLOD while trying to reflash a good backup to get rid of the Black Screen.
Hmm, are you sure it's really YLOD? And that it was really a good dump? -> You must login or register to view this content.
Might need to tape wire or solder a wire to motherboard's tristate point & to SBE to debrick if you've got a good dump + is byte reversed & patched obviously.

BTW offtopic. But whoever is 5 starring threads that i post on in. Please stop.

It turns on and 5 seconds later it beeps and the light turns yellow. It's weird because PS3 Slims are almost impossible to get YLOD and yes i am 100% sure that it was a good back up. I always am cautious when it comes to Jailbreaking, this however is the first time it has happened to me while trying to flash. It's very odd i must say. Could you provide me links to where i could get solder accessories for the PS3/E3 Flasher? I don't have any solder stuff at the moment.
Thanks

"solder accessories" umm erm just standard 30w or +40 Watt solder iron & lead-free solder needed... But soldering can be dangerous if not experienced at it and or if you don't have a steady hand (if your nerves get the better of you). As i have to admit, i've mildly burnt my fingers a few times now. :embarrassed:

Sooo yeahh, if you can't get help from dad, adult friend, or someone that's got solder iron + engineering/soldering experience. And instead of wasting money on a soldering iron if you're only going to use it once... instead then i suggest using a single wire cable + sticky tape & or duck tape way/trick. As shown in this below example.

There's an official PDF from E3 flasher guys, info about flash-fun debricking with couple of pics.. i'll get on my laptop & upload + link it to you after the Germany v Algeria match if you don't mind. ( as on ps3 browser now typing all this with controller =D)

Instead of soldering (if you can't) tape with sticky tape or duck tape a wire. 1 end on the nor tristate point & the other "SBE" point which is on the e3 ribbon.. After if good connection ps3 should stay on & not do the fake YLOD symptom

You don't need to solder anything!!!!
If you're getting the symptoms of YLOD after reflashing it is because the NOR was not properly flashed correctly
You will definitely need to reflash
In order for the reflash without the ps3 turning off on you
You will need a copper wire
One end touching the NOR Tristate
the other end touching the GND
Once you have the wire touching these points, turn on the PS3
I normally hold the wire with both my hands and with my nose I turn on the PS3
If the ps3 remains on, continue with reflashing with all switches down
If the ps3 still turns off, keep trying with wire since it is not making good contact

I did mention in my previous post that with a wire/cable & tape works too :p

PS3 has syscon panic ylod caused but clip detaching during patching of bios, or patching of a bad dump.
Only way to fix is soldering nor tristate to ground on mobo
You can use nor tristate to sbe on e3 clip ribbon & use flash fun mode.
But soldering nor tristate to ground on mobo is better..make sure the wire from ground to tristate is exposed, as you need to cut it after flashing.. all switches down.
Use a Ethernet cable or phone line cable for the wire you are gonna use to solder
This puts the ps3 into a semi bricked mode, no picture etc.. but it will boot & you will be able to flash the bios
So steps are
(1) Solder nor tristate to ground on mobo
(2) All switches down on e3 flasher
(3) Flash ps3 with your good dump
(4) After flashing is complete turn off ps3 then cut the wire
(5) Reboot, ps3 will start as usual all fixed
This way is better as you don't have to use flash fun mode,or solder to the delicate e3 ribbon cable, just unsolder the wires after.
Tell me what version of mobo you have & i will upload some pics of where the solder points are.
If you don't think your up to it you can send mobo to me & i can fix it for you.
