(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, when I was trying to downgrade my ps3, at the rewriting BIOS state, my E3 Flasher gave an error that was "failed to rewrite bios" ok, when i went to insert my micro sd card on the e3 flasher, my ps3 shut off and then when I tried to turn on, it wouldnt turn on, it turns on, after 2 sec, turns off, give 3 beeps ( no ylod) and the red light stays flashing.. ok, I've read that if u solder a wire from tristate to gnd point on the board it would stay on, i tried and didn't work, now i soldered the wire from tristate to SBE, and tried to turn on, the ps3 shuts off again and again, it won't stay on... if someone could help me to get it to stay on I would be very grateful , if it stay on I can do the reflash and play it again.. thx in advance

I would use only one wire from the NOR TRISTATE to GND point that is it!
Try that

You also try to solder a wire from nor tristate to a GND point on the motherboard, that will force it to stay on too. You must login or register to view this content.

Edit: I missed one of the GND points on the motherboard but you get the idea.
Depending on how much your nor was corrupted you might need to do the FSM way instead of the NON-FSM Way. The FSM way requires a Factory mode dongle, or a e3 flasher card reader.

Watch that video, it might be that you are not soldering right, because that is just weird.

That is just pretty damn weird, first time that I see a person with this issue. Well, there are people much smarter than me in this context on ps3hax.net, give it a visit, talk to playerkp420 or to baileyscream ( baileyscream is not online all the time, so you might have a better chance with playerkp420)

The following 2 users say thank you to Sabotage for this useful post:

so is that vid your mobo as it looked a bit black where you have soldered

If you Solder nor tristate to ground on mobo you don't need first switch up (flash fun mode)

If you go sbe on e3 clip to nor tristate on mobo first switch up flash fun mode

Use thin wire & pre tin the wire you are using, this makes it easier to solder, as the solder melts & connects to the mobo quicker so less heat is required

Should be securely soldered in no more than a second with a pre tinned wire
