Post: Multiman dump stops without no reason

I am error
A friend lent me a very clean BR of God Of War 3 so I decided to dump it on multiman.
But after 5min and 10 seconds, the dump stops itself without no reason and says "aborted" in multiman.
Is my BR drive dead ?
PS : I can launch the game on XMB, but I have black screen but no freeze.

You need a newer mM than you have installed

Have you tried dumping other games?

The mirrored side of the disc is most definitely scratched and or dirty/fingerprint smudged. And so that's why Multiman can't fully rip it.
Solution = clean the disc properly.

It has nothing to do with MultiMan itself, but instead the disc itself, it's most probably quite scratched & or dusty, smudged or dirty (on the shiny side), the PS3's blu-ray laser/drive can't exactly fully read that certain particular section of the disc, so yeah basically you need to clean the disc.

Oh yeah & important kinda obvious but after cleaning if with damp cloth or if toothpaste way, dry the disc after. Don't insert it in your console even if it's a lil bit wet on either side, cos could possibly damage your PS3's blu-ray drive
