1) you don't have to worry about being banned on psn that much anymore. but to be on the safe side use homebrew such as psninja and psnpatch before signing in. Don't mod on ghosts, you will be banned lol. and bo2 just use an anti-ban eboot and you will be fine.

2) yes you can get online. its just like have the disc, like ofw =)

3)jailbreaking it won't cut the life span. as long as you take care of your ps3, nothing should go wrong. make sure to get all the dust out of your ps3 every 6 months or so. and buy some thermal paste and take sony's shitty paste off. and put yours on, too keep your ps3 away from ylod. one thing to note: never leave a disc in your ps3 when changing firmwares, (this is only if you have something on your ps3 called toggle qa) because it will kill your blu-ray. had this happen to me twice.

Hey i have another question! im on Rogero 4.55 cfw and i want to downgrade to switch to another custom firmware.should i downgrade with rogero 9.99 downgrader or rogero 3.55 downgrader? And should i install the Toggle_qa before the downgrade or after the downgrade

you can only install qa flag on 3.55. and use 3.55 downgrader. never use 9.99 downgrader. ive heard of to many bricks with that

Yes i have a question Since 2 days ago i turned on my ps3 and its fine for a while but then like a matrix type screen comes up and freezes my ps3 or sometimes i turn on my ps3 and its pn but no image or sound nothing if you can please help

You have a gpu/cpu problem. You need alot of skills to be able to fix that. You'll have to reball/reflow/reflux the cpu. You might want to send that to somebody
