(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); guy's, i need help with this big time, i converted cex to dex months ago on 4.46 rebug just updated the d-rex of this last night with qa flag on & totally screwed my ps3 all i get now is safe mode, otherwise it black screen, in safe mode nothing really works either, system update says not applicable with all the firmwares i have tried & any other option just goes to a blank screen nothing really happens. can anyone advise on what to do, is it a hard drive fault? dont want to lose my jailbreak on it.

Use 999 downgrader or a downgrader for dex then go back to whatever you want .

If it doesn't come from the rebug website don't use it. I'm sorry to hear that some of you have bricked your ps3's by using the faulty 4.65.1 but I'm sure that it gave you a warning ahead of time. Look up some videos on youtube on how to un-brick a ps3, and try the dex downgrader like the other guys have stated. You don't really need a 4.60.1 or 4.65.1 update just to use rebug online. Just use 4.21.1 or 4.46.1 and the 4.60 spoof next time. I will never change my cfw from 4.46.1 unless I have no other alternative.

Have you tried using 3.55 OFW? A while back, I had the same problem because I used a Cobra firmware with CCAPI 2.50 and the two do NOT mix well. The result? It formatted my PS3 and stuck me in safe mode until I installed a new firmware. To be safe, I would just try using 3.55 or a lower DEX custom firmware.

its past that point guys, its bricked, dont even turn on so i cannot install no pups, i should of stayed on 4.46 just tought as its been years since rebug released one

bro you need 3.55 dex downgrader thats the safe way i was on 4.65.1 but i didnt like it im going back to 4.46 but right now im on 3.55

The ps3 does not turn on, it needs a dongle or ps3jig to flash it back to safe mode??
