So I recently installed 4.65.1 REX and I cant install any pkg's without getting "Corrupted Data" (example - IRISMAN/SEN ENABLER both are 4.65 compatible/cobra, It wouldn't even let me install "Rebug Tool Box" I tried this with "Cobra Mode" On/Off ?

I thought to downgrade and go back to 4.46.1 seems as I never had any problem's with that firmware before so I did as they stated on their website (codename REBUG) and followed their steps to downgrade back to 3.55, Instruction's I followed to downgrade & was unsuccessful are as follow's -

From XMB via storage media with Rebug 3.55.x REX Edition with QA Enabled/999 Downgrader with QA NOT enabled.

PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP < I already know this.

Messages I received while trying to do this where I cant downgrade below 4.65 ? WTF? - Rebug 3.55.x downgrader pup

999 downgrader would start as if it was going to downgrade but then just stop and kick me back to XMB.

I'm at breaking point with this firmware feel like throwing my console out of the window. This is sparta!

Any help is appreciated.

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help me.

I wouldn't suggest downgrading through xmb try it through recovery maybe.

Well if i remember with Rebug firmwares you have to have qa enabled at 3.55 to downgrade with the 3.55 downgrader and the 999 downgrader is without it so keep working with the 999.

Don't give up yet! try formatting your flash drive then try again also make sure qa is disabled, also you can disable cobra in rebug toolbox
package manger, Install Package Files, PS3 Hard Disk, then rebug toolbox should be there.
