There's way Too Much..
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So, I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between CCapi and Tmapi... I use CCAPI 2.50 on my CEX ..I'm wondering if I should use the same on my DEX to connect or is there a different process to RTM on DEX. I know it's a bit of a dumb question but I wanted some input before I installed CCapi on my DEX.

Thanks for any help/advice.

And btw, thank you for all the info/help.

Converting eboot to a debug is not hard and you don't have to do anything manually, you just need resigner such as TrueAncestor SELF Resigner or DarkPS3Tools etc...

Here's a little tutorial on how to make debug eboot:
Things you will need:
1. TrueAncestor SELF Resigner v1.91: You must login or register to view this content.
2. Your game original Eboot.

That's all now let's get started:
1. Download and unzip "TrueAncestor_SELF_Resigner_v1.91.zip" from provided link above.
2. Copy your game original Eboot to the same Directory as resigner.exe.
3. Start the resigner.exe then you can see the whole menu.
4. Choose 10 if you have an eboot from a game update or 11 for psn store games, you will see the app automatically do some work like this:
[?] Please enter your choice (1-9/X/A/C/D/F/I/T):10

  • Decrypting EBOOT.BIN...

  • Patching EBOOT.ELF...

  • Encrypting EBOOT.ELF...

  • Resign finished.

  • Press any key to continue...

  • 5. Close the app.

Now you'll see a new file called EBOOT.BIN.BAK that's your original eboot before converting, the EBOOT.BIN is the converted one, so all you have to do now is upload the EBOOT.BIN to your game directory, example /dev_hdd0/game/BLES01427/USRDIR/.

Thank you so much for all your help. I have one last question, these eboots I'll make, will they affect the game in any way, like when you make a custom eboot for mw3 it automatically loads into multi-player..will these do the same?

    Great stuff.
I'm total noob and wanted to ask you how to turn on the game in debug mode? I wanted to take a look on unused content/ files in the game that I know some people accessed in in-game developer mode. I tried to mess a little bit with Boot Modes in Debug Options on Rebug XMB but it didn't do a thing.

Is the eboot way to go? What to do later?

Both eboots are the same so no need to worry about anything, you just wan't to use the debug one if you wanted to attach to the game with TMAPI.

There's no such thing called debug mode in most games, the only way to see what devs have made is using IDA to analyze the ELF.
