(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Recently, my Jailbroken PS3 has started acting up. It is slow. It lags when I press an option or do something simple just as watching Netflix.

It lags in game and freezes and then unfreezes. Then sometimes it just freezes and I have to turn it off. I can't even play GTA without freezing in like 10 min. Mw3 freezes and lags but not as bad. It occurs in XMB and offline.

I rebuilt my database and restored my file system. I don't think reformatting is going to fix it honestly. I've had it for about 5 years.

Is it overheating or does it need new thermal paste. Please help, I just want to play like before. Thank you.

Note: It happens both on my External hardrive games and my internal hardrive

Check your vsh see if its on default

That happens to me every once in awhile. Normally turning it on/off works fine but it doesn't for you. If someone doesn't post a solution soon you might want to try and reformat as long as you don't have anything valuable on there. Good luck!
