(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I watched this video


and I got to the point that you install the patch and that installed then when I go to update via storage it say that there is no update I'm on OFW 4.70

What patcher did you use to patch your bios & what cfw did you try to install??

The patcher in the video for 4.70 and I tried habib or 3.55 rogero but I'm still on ofw 4.70?

So you used this 4.70 patcher??

If you did then install a 4.70 cfw via usb stick.....

Make sure the cfw file is named PS3UPDAT.PUP (in caps) & place in the correct PS3, UPDATE folders, see pic

Try from recovery...

Are you sure you patched it correctly??

Another thing you could try is to format the hdd on pc then try again...

Have you got the bd drive hocked up??

Use right port for updates with no disc in drive

I gtg to sleep now as its 5:49 am, i will check back later.......

Obviously bro the PS3 cannot locate the PUP on the USB
You need to make sure

1) Usb actually works
2) Usb is on FAT32
3) Make sure you have the correct file directory USB\PS3\UPDATE
4) Make sure PUP is actually name to PS3UPDAT.PUP
5) Make sure PUP is in the correct folder USB\PS3\UPDATE\PS3UPDAT.PUP
