Post: What are things I can do to keep my ps3 cool?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys what are somethings I can do to keep my ps3 cool I don't have fan control BTW my cpu runs around 75c is that good? or normal? I never replaced the thermal paste thanks for reading!!!

you can use webman to edit the fan settings

What firmware are you on? Control Fan Utility doesn't work on some firmwares so I recommend you to use You must login or register to view this content. but you'll have to enable COBRA mode to make it work. To install webMAN, first you need to run the pkg called You must login or register to view this content. and then just install webMAN MOD on install pkg files. If you want to change your fan settings to make your PS3's CPU and RSX temperature cooler, just go to webMAN Games on the XMB, then press webMAN Setup> PS3 webMAN [Setup] and change your fan settings. I have my fan settings on Manual: 40% fan speed (0x66) and my CPU and RSX temperature almost never goes higher than 70 C.

seems a bit hot for a ps3 but best bet is to keep it in an open space along with elevate it off the table even to allow air flow....i seen alot fo ppl modify their case for the ps3 to allow more air to get around n excape.Other then that a good fan control and some new thermal paste would be best
