I recently bought a slim 3.55ofw console unknow of its history
Every time i try to install cfw i get 8002F159 error code.

I have tried multiple usb's & an external HDD Multiple cfw's ,
I md5sum checked them all they are all non corrupted i even tried to reinstall ofw3.55 again
I have tried to install via restore menu but it asks for 4.70 or higher?

Im loosing patience with it fast the only thing that worked was geohots 3.55-jb which is useless for what i want to do
I will pay $10-20 for someone to help me fix the problem!

Does geo hot have enable qa? I though it just enabled you to install pkg files

Why don't you try reinstalling 3.55 OFW, as it may be corrupted.

either a damaged firmware or ps3 is sounding like the cause

does you'r PS3 boot up correctley, or does it just start's up in recovery mode?

also it might have had a remarry in the past, when it instal the firmware, and stops it will be stuck in firmware install loop. simply power down the ps3 at the main power and switch it back on, it will continue to install correctly.

Format your HDD on a pc or another ps3, then when thats done put your hdd back in to your 3.55 ps3 and then go in to recovery menu and install this firmware You must login or register to view this content. its Rebug 3.55 downgrader.

why would he need a downgrader if hes on 3.55 already you douche simply all u need is get on geo hot enable toggle qa simply go back to 3.55 ofw simply install desired firmware baddamm boom badda bing
