(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have fan utility downloaded but it seems as if it doesn't do anything. My CPU goes to 86 as soon as I turn it on. I then get a warning saying my PS3 is to hot and it will soon shut off, Which is exactly what happens. I have a PHAT jailbroken PS3. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? This problem was not occurring before?!?!

You need to do a reball and apply new thermal paste preferably Artic silver 5, i did this and have fan utility set to 0x80 and my cell is 45-49 and rsx 46-50 after playing black ops 2 for about 2 hours or so.

Yes its the best on the market, but be careful as there are fakes floating about and make sure you dab some underneath your rsx and cell chip aswell but this will require a really steady hand because if you ever so slightly scratch your rsx or cell chip whilst trying to lift them it will make you ps3 useless.

I'm going to hire someone to do it for me.. Do you think Artic Silver would do it for me? The actual company?!?

No lol, ask your local computer shop or look for someone online round your area who does console repairs. But specifically tell that person to not update your console as i did this once and the guy updated one of my ps3's.
