(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); my hard drive packed up on my ps3 dont even spin when connected to pc anyway my ps3 is on rebug 4.70.1 cobra edition and i got my new hard drive today put it in my ps3 turned ps3 on it says please plug your controller into your playstation and push the ps button do that and it says please have 4.70 or later and push start + Select i had rebug 4.70.1 cobra edition on a usb fat32 PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP < Rebug firmware and i push start + Select and it says no applicable data was found

have i lost my cfw ?

You have not lost your jailbreak as that lives on the nand/nor chip on the ps3 motherboard

Was you on dex or cex?

If you converted to dex & where still on rex you will have to now install D-rex

only other issue i can see it being is usb faulty my ps3 is very picky when it comes to usb drives some that wont work in ps3 as fat32 work fine on pc

right guys its all sorted i done what dirty smasher said i used rebug 4.70.1 REX (i was using d-rex and it it said no applicable data but rex worked ) the firmware is installing now i like to thank every one in this thread for helping me out here i i love this site people help each other out
