(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i was trying to get a custom message to replace the warning seizure message that comes up when u first start a ps3. I can't restore the hard drive because that makes u go to a screen on the xmb. I was on rebug 4.70.1 REX. If anyone can help please respond.

Boot into safe mode and re-install your FW over the current one. And I suggest not messing with files like that again :p

I need a little bit more information. Check this out for me right now:

Does your PS3 controller sync in while the PS3 is on?

Can you go to Recovery mode?

Answer those and I'll try to help further.

Awesome. Now, go to your USB and create a folder on the root called PS3. Inside that folder, make another folder called UPDATE. Inside that, put your PS3UPDAT.PUP file that you used for the firmware you had before this happened to you. Basically Reinstall your firmware from the System Update option on recovery mode.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I don't know why the data is corrupted.
