I was was watching a video of someone getting his ps3 unbanned, he said " I don't know why I was banned" and then after he was back online again. What the hell are people doing which makes them get banned?

I modded bo2 recently and got a account ban then a cid bann next day for no reason, someone told me he and 14 of his modder freinds got banned too so im guessing there on/ were a ban wave.

I know sony is not a fan of modding or cfw and I was told to update games threw multiman or homebrew app because sony sends you viruses so sony just hates cfw thats why people get banned so much.

Is it still even worth it to go on a cfw? I'm getting a ps3 on the 3.55 ofw in a month

That is all a matter of opinion, my opinion is i think it is worth it, I was modding gta 5 for a month with out ban it can be alot of work but the amount of fun I had when I was modding, they are very fun to play with but you have to mange it and part of that is bans and spoofing your fireware on and on. So i would go on a cfw.

There is always going to be a chance of ban since you are on a CFW PS3 but you can use Stuff to slim the chances of getting banned like PSN Patch,PSNinja v4, etc. i would just look around Forum's to get info about when the Ban Waves are on, they can last from 1-7 Day's i believe so when a ban wave is on don't sign in on your CFW Console and you should be fine. ~SwarMzY~

I got no idea, how quick i got banned on bo2 I cant believe I got away with modding it for a month it was odd, well first of all I never leveled my self over 200 tried to have the least amount of money possible, never got reported because I was nice to people and dropped money so they gave my a good review, I did troll of course but I was invisible and dropped money afterwards. So idk.
