I wouldn't be so sure,

I remember transfering my jailbreaked ps3 data which had multiman on it to other ps3 that was not jailbroken and multiman would work for some weird reason.

I suggest you try other app if you have any other homebrew apps check if they work.

When you start up multiman does it say something about BD(Blue Ray) emulator is disabled or something like that?
