ive tried to let my ps3 cool down and tried every option except restore ps3 on recovery mode
on the last option update ps3 it just froze and i have no idea what to do any more

Through recovery mode, reinstall 4.50 ITA. Implying CCAPI was the cause of this issue, your problem should be fixed as this will uninstall ccapi.

I told you I tried that already all it does it freeze when I choose the option

Maeby HDD issue but before formating your PS3 hdd try to read this: When to use Safe Mode

Execute safe mode when the PS3 is experiencing the following symptoms:

After read try in safe mode first number 3 option is still no fix try also number 4 option : Option3: Restore File System - Attempts to repair all areas on the hard disk drive where files can be saved. Corrupted data may be erased if it cannot be recovered.
Option 4: Rebuild Database - Deletes messages, playlists, changes made on [Information] screens, trimming information for pictures in [Photo], video thumbnails, video playback history and video resume information.
This operation may take a long time depending on the type and number of data items.Good luck

ive done all of this dude no matter what I do my ps3 rather freezes or gets stuck
I went to safe mode and tried EVERYTHING except restore ps3 system because I think that will get rid of my CFW

ive tried to reinstall my CFW and it freezes everytime I try to update it from recovery mode and every other option gets stuck at a loading screen that ive left stting for like a hour and nothing has happened
rebuild database file sytem default settings and all that I have no idea what to do

I didn't mean to put cobra settings but I did and ccapi 2.50 is not compatible

So last chance is to reformat your HDD PS3 because is very corrupted, remove from console and fully wipe and format you will not loose you CFW but you will lose all your save, message, music, video and more.So you will re install your same CFW 4.50 ITA.

is system restore a possible way to do it or any other way on the ps3 because ive never had to do something like that

I think it would rather get rid of my cfw completely or just put me back on 3.55 which is what I hope would happen
