I wouldnt i would just get a ps4 i have a ps3 cfw and a ps4 and sincw i got my ps4 i mostly play on it but sometimes i go back to my ps3 to have fun with friend to host lobbies in private match i would recommend getting the next gen console

Should definetly get one, PS3 Modding probably won't be dead for a while. (Most likely until PS3 servers shut down.)
