Although I'm rather paranoid about getting banned in the future, I am taking the usual basic precautions such as using PS NINJA and not launching home brew after signing in, however as I understand there is still a high chance I will be banned at some point,. So I have a few questions I would like some answers to, if anyone can help that would be great.

1. If I get banned and purchase a new CID, will I need to input/load this CID every time I start my console or will it permanently over right what would be my old banned CID?

2. Will their be a point when new CID's dry up and purchasing a new one will become very hard? And if so when do you think we will reach this point?

3. And last but certainly not least. I also have in my possession a old fat PS3 that I fixed from YLOD but now the fan runs VERY VERY loud and I know it's always just a temporary fix anyway, so could I take this consoles CID before it dies again and just store it somewhere for when my CID gets banned? And if so how would I go about this?

I realise this is a lot of questions and any reply will not be a quick reply. But I would really appreciate it if I could get some answers. Thanks in advance Glitch.

1. Depending on the CFW that you have you can just input the new CID once and it will always load up, or you can use CCAPI to boot it at start up.

2. Depends, but the sells of CID's in this forum is not allowed. Maybe google search.

3. You can get the CID by flashing the PS3, with an E3 Fflasher. then get the CID from there.

1. I'm on Rebug 4.70.1 CEX so im just going guess (hope) both ways are possible?

2. Okay could I just purchase (from elsewhere) a CID and just "store" it until needed ? Or is this not advised?

Okay I guess I will just have to give up on retrieving the CID myself from another console as I don't own a Flasher and don't foresee me ever doing so, as in my eyes the PS3 is a rather outdated platform for me to be spending anymore money on (looking to get a PS4 or PC very soon ready for SW:BF and Fallout 4)

1. Yes its possible on ccapi the latest update 4.70 of ccapi because I'm on rebug 4.70 d rex on ccapi and I use it to boot up my cid

Hi sure enough I have been banned from GTA Online but can still access the PSN, so I have just purchased a CID (not from this site) to get back on GTA Online and soon after quickly received it. However am I not supposed to receive a PSID as well or does this not need changing?

Also I know i need to use CCAPI to change the CID, do I just do this straight after the console has booted up and then sign into PSN? Which is the better method "set current idps" or "set boot idps"?

And finally my original CID was only banned from GTA Online, so i am hoping that this is just a temporary ban, if i start using the new CID will i lose my orginal CID?

Keep the original CID. You can still use it to play other games and stuff. And for your new CID that you bought, try to not mod GTA when using it, or just make a new account.

How do ensure that I keep my original CID? Do I need to take a copy? if so I cannot find it anywhere to copy. And also I will be using a brand new account just don't want to risk it.

The reason I was banned was down to my own stupid fault, I decided to stream a modded lobby on twitch and let me PSN been seen haha and after 3 days some one grassed me up. Here is the R* forum post: You must login or register to view this content.
