Make sure the tool is compatible with your version of TMAPI, if its not take the Ps3.Dll file from a compatible tool and replace the one in the tool your trying to use.

Im not familiar with TMAPI versions but

Lets say your TMAPI version is 2.60

The tool that wont connect is made for TMAPI 2.50

Download a tool that is made for 2.60

Take the Ps3.Dll file from the 2.60 tool and replace the one in the 2.50 tool.

Basically you have the newest version of tmapi, and the tool you have is not supported. So swap the .dll file from a tool that supports your version of tmapi.

Its not that hard to do..
