someone said this Hi when the ps3 was dropped it probably screwed the pressure on the clips and temperature sensor to fix this Just open your PS3 and screw the metal clips on the chips really tight it should remove the issue but i dont know wich metal clips..

When it was dropped the impact probably shifted the heat sinks a little which will break the connection between it and the thermal paste. So simply open it up apply new thermal paste and check the sinks have not shifted
