(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I Flashed and put a cfw on my ps3 about 5months ago. The ps3 was fine back then, but I got busy and couldn't play with it for a couple months. Then I tried to turn it on multiple times for the past couple of weeks and it will turn on but nothing will show up, no XMB. The green light will come on and thats it, nothing on the screen. The ps3 would boot in safe mode, so I tried downgrading it (in safe mode) using the Rogero 999 and I got an error that said file is corrupt. I really want to use this thing and I need help. I also tried updating it from safe mode to habibs 4.75 starbucks but it said not applicable file or something. Please help and thanks in advance.

You need to install a REBUG CFW to get out of there. If you don't have toggle Qa then you'll need to use 3.55 rebug

My xmb wouldn't load the other day I had to format my ps3 to fix it. If that doesn't work then reinstall your firmware/

Should I just restore it in safe mode? and will it send me back to ofw or nahh?

Also if you know what cfw you currently have installed you could try to install that same firmware.

If you get it to boot to the xmb you can downgrade using a 999 downgrader or if you have qa enabled you can jump directly to whatever firmware you want to use. However is it recommended by many when changing firmwares to install 3.55 ofw first, dehash, then upgrade to whatever cfw you want to use.

If all else fails and you still have your flasher and a verified dump, you can reflash and start from there.

It says the data is corrupted (8002f2c5). Also it says update 4.75 or higher
