(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU
I have a problem that I need assistance with..... My playstation(Rebug 4.70) when I try to start it up from the red light it starts and the green light shows for 1-2 seconds then shuts right off with no light and I have to disconnect the power cord and reconnect for the red light to appear again... I have had it only for about 3 weeks and it has worked great, so any suggestions?????? Thanks!

Your ps3 is surging have you spilt any liquid on it recently? If not then changing the psu will fix this problem.

It isnt dude the green light of death only occurs when the rsx chip is not making contact with the sinks properly so the ps3 will still stay on but freeze upon powerup. Hence the green light, oh and the screen will hanging on a faint black or it could indicate a problem with the HDD. The ps3 is surging due to lack of power being transmitted from the psu. Very common occurence in the slims. But trust me this is far from the GLOD.

Trust me bro this is not GLOD lol The ps3 does not turn off with a glod. As i said the green light of death is a rsx related problem with it not making full contact with its sink. This is a psu related problem. Plus just to add the GLOD can also be a problem with the HDD
