Go to recovery mode. Restore default settings. This will not affect your firmware or your trophies

where is restore default settings

In ps3 safe mode menu which can be accessed by doing the following:

Turn off your PlayStation 3 so you see the glowing red light.
Turn on your PlayStation 3 and HOLD the power button. Keep holding until it turns off.
Now turn it on again but this time it will be a little different. Press and hold the power button and you will hear. one Beep, one Beep, then two quick Beeps at this point release the power button. If you release it to late it will just turn off again. Return to step 2 if this happens.
You will be greeted with a screen asking you to connect a controller with a USB cable. Connect your controller with a USB cable.
Congratulations, you've made it to the PlayStation 3's Recovery menu.

this will keep my jailbreak correct?

It will not get rid of your cfw.

If that does not work make sure your np environment is not enabled.

When disabling your np environment game services wont work... And plus he wont be able to sign in properly (sometimes not at all, depending on the FW) as his avatar wont show and neither will friends still
