I'm going to try this, and then maybe trying to add a cooling mod to it?? I'm scared to fuck up my playstation though haha.

I heard cooling mods (drilling holes in the case) screw up the intended air flow of the ps3 and make it worse? Not sure how true that is, i just elevate my ps3 and it seems to stay cool

Yeah since this post I have actually done that. Its on 3 of my medical container lids haha

I freeze a lot I just recently got my console jailbroken on cex but been told dex is better so will try this also becayse I changed my update file like replaces it and want another mod but don't have the update file do I need to replace the update file to use the new mod menue
