Purchased a ps3 ages ago that was modded.

Then today I wanted to update it fron 4.70 dex to 4.75 dex, so I did.

Now I don't have internet on the ps3 no more, I can't login to psn atleast.

Can someone help, and maybe even suggest a better cfw (include steps if so)?

Try using a new CID. You may have had an invalid CID.

Where do I get this?

You might have to buy one. You can buy it from anyone that is trusted on other forums that sells CID's.

Fuck... This will cost me money, didn't except that one coming. Is there no other way that would not be perm, but I have to do every time I boot up

Feel free to try. When you bought the PS3, was it downgraded already?

When I bought it it was already installed on Rebug 4.70, then I wanted to switch to 4.75 so I did update. Then I just went and resetted my ps3.

I could totally downgrade again and then install another CFW, but I would love to have this all described as i do not know 100% how to do this.

The person you bought it from may have given you a fake CID so he could sell it. Was it ever working for you before?
