so pull chip, put in clip and power the e3 huh?, cause i got 30+ dead consoles & most are nor models

Exactly... you don't have to take the chips off the boards you can simply make heavy score marks around the clip cutting off any traces, therefore, allowing the Nor to get exactly 3.3V
