All i know is it was messed up when i stopped using it. So today I downloaded and installed rogero 3.55 downgrader and it worked! Then I installed q&a pkg and it dosent work. it goes black and then back to xmb. It didnt do anything. I tried doing the sequence thing in network settings and it didn't work. I've tried installing multiple other firmwares but it says data corrupted. I've tried 3.55Kmeaw, 3.55OFW, nothing works. just says files corrupted. Also my LV2 kernel is CEX and my target type is DEX. please some genius help me solve this mystery so i can get back to modding! Thankyou!

If you have the original logic board(small motherboard in the disc drive assembly), just install it into your new disc drive and it will work fine. If you do not have the original logic board to the ps3, you will need a remarry.
