(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so I recently Bricked my ps3, well I soldered a wire to it and got it back up and running now my question is how do I reinstall a firmware so I can get back to modding it... im stuck at a screen that says. "if the system cant be restarted, you must install the system software. connect storage media that contains 4.75 or later, and press start and select buttons at same time. This is a moddable ps3 I have had it on CEX I accidently bricked it trying to put it on DEX. if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it

i had this issue after a bad nor dump, nothing in recovery menu worked and updating would ether put me in a loop or fatal error my hdd, i reflashed it ended up with proper brick then i soldered wire and reflashed it again got rsod then i flashed it again and changed hdd then put old one back and it let me install cfw no issue Smile i obviously need a new clip or need to start soldering wires instead of using a e3 with a nor clip. getting presser to read and write is easy, it says to gives good dumps but my flasher hates writing the first time, last 3 times i had to use flash fun cause it bricked my ps3, didn't change the patch dump just soldered a wire and flash fun and works fine so i say my e3 flasher is not functioning very well, to fix this you will need a good dump on your pc, if you don't have a good dump to patch or use then all i can say is good luck it's hard to fix a corrupted flash without a good dump
