Post: Upgrade my jailbroken fat ps3 to 500 gb

so i want to upgrade my hdd from 80 gb to 500 gb so the question is am i gonna lose my jailbroken ps3 if i do that, and what is going to happen after i replaced it with new hdd what is going to change and what i have to do.

have you guys changed your hdd what did you do

1. Put the new hdd into the ps3
2. Boot ps3 into recovery mode
3. Select option "restore ps3 system"
This will format the hdd to the ps3
Once it's done, you will be brought to a black screen asking for your last cfw.
4. Reinstall your cfw
